This site is a free service that helps homeowners and businesses connect with independent local roofing contractors. All contractors are independent and Best Vegas Roofer does not warrant or guarantee any work performed. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify that the contractor they hire furnishes the licence and insurance required for the work being performed.

Best Vegas Roofer does not hold a Nevada contractor licence, because it does not perform roofing work. It does not employ, supervise, direct or subcontract the contractors it refers. Any licence applicable to your job is held by the independent contractor who performs it.

Roofing in Nevada falls under contractor classification C-15, Roofing and Siding, with C-15a covering roofing specifically. Nevada licences can be verified free on the Nevada State Contractors Board licence search, and formal disciplinary action is published on the separate discipline search. We recommend you use both before any work starts.

No charge to be matched

There is no charge to you for being matched with a roofing contractor, and no obligation to hire the one you are connected with. You contract directly with the contractor and pay them at the price they quote you. No money passes through us, so there is nothing for us to mark up.

Prices on this site are third party ranges

Any dollar figure published anywhere on this site is a market range published by a named third party, linked at the point it appears. Those figures are reference points to help you read a quote. They are not our prices, not an offer, and not a quote. Only the contractor who inspects your roof can price it.

We do not handle insurance claims

Best Vegas Roofer does not file, adjust, negotiate or advise on insurance claims, and makes no representation about whether any claim will be approved or what it will pay. Your insurer and their adjuster decide that.

We make no promise that a deductible will be waived or absorbed. A contractor offering to waive your deductible is describing something you should ask your own insurer about before agreeing to it.

Information, not instruction

Our guides and service pages are general information for property owners. They are written to help you recognise a problem and understand your options, not to instruct you to carry out repairs.

We deliberately do not publish procedures for working on a roof. Falls from roofs are a leading cause of serious home maintenance injury, a Las Vegas roof surface in summer can cause contact burns, and heat-softened or wet roofing is far less stable than it looks. Every check we suggest to a homeowner is performed from the ground, from inside the building, or from an attic hatch.

If water is near light fittings, ceiling fans or an electrical panel, treat it as an electrical hazard. If a ceiling is bulging with trapped water, keep people and pets clear of that room.

Climate normals on this site are taken from the NOAA NCEI record for the Las Vegas airport station rather than from secondary weather sites, several of which publish materially different figures for the same city.
